I’ve spent most of my career trying different sides of the automotive and creative industries; production, editing, direction, social media, partnership. I’m still exploring where it all can go. Cars were always the common thread, but the work around them kept evolving. What began behind the camera in studios and agencies slowly turned into something more personal: using cars as a way to see places, meet people, and tell simple stories from the road. That’s what LifeofMohd became over the past four to five years—not a reinvention, but a return to something I’d been building quietly for a long time.
Long before the automotive industry, I was already filming and editing. I picked up a camera around the age of 15 and started learning by doing small projects, experiments, and anything that helped me understand digital storytelling. Before I even had a driving license, I had already worked on projects with organizations such as Dubai Police and banks. That experience eventually led me to Dubai Media, where I spent eight years. Those early years taught me discipline, structure, and how media evolved as technology changed.

I’ve always been drawn to technical trends in content creation. I started during the era of horizontal YouTube videos, but I quickly recognized the rise of vertical storytelling. Understanding how framing, pacing, and narrative changed for vertical content became a major focus. Adapting early helped shape the way I still create content today.
Before and during the Motion Arabia years, the name LifeofMohd already existed. It wasn’t a brand yet. Instead, it was a personal space for experimentation. At a time when smartphone vlogging was uncommon, I was creating casual travel clips and documenting everyday moments. Those experiments planted the idea that storytelling could be lighter, more personal, and more direct while still maintaining production quality.
Motion Arabia became a defining chapter of my career. Together with a team of around ten creatives, we produced automotive and lifestyle content across the region for nearly four years. When the company came to an end around 2020–2021, it forced me to pause and rethink my direction. I realized I wanted to return to something personal: traveling, documenting journeys, and telling stories in my own voice. LifeofMohd already existed. The only question was where to begin.

The Answer Was Simple: Start With a Road Trip Somewhere Unfamiliar
One of the first major journeys that shaped this direction was a 5,000-kilometer drive across Russia to a remote peninsula known as Guba in a Range Rover. The journey wasn’t about spectacle. Instead, it focused on endurance, distance, and the experience of reaching places few people visit.
Around the same time, I also completed multiple full loops around Oman. Each trip covered between 4,000 and 6,000 kilometers through deserts, coastlines, and mountains. Those drives became a recurring reset.

Later came Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, and a wider European road trip. I also crossed Vietnam from south to north by motorcycle. These adventures expanded my perspective, but they were never just about the vehicles. They were always about exploration.
Many of my drives continue to focus on discovering unusual places across the Middle East. I search for forgotten roads, abandoned structures, remote viewpoints, and the geographical edges of maps. Cars remain an important part of every story, but they support the journey rather than becoming its only subject.

Collaboration has also become an important part of LifeofMohd. Traveling with creators, friends, and local partners changes every trip. Every person brings a new perspective and helps shape the stories we tell together.
