Udrive, the UAE’s leading car-sharing platform, has announced a strategic collaboration with AGMC, the authorised importer of MINI in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, to integrate MINI vehicles into Udrive’s shared mobility fleet across the UAE. The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding between the two companies, marks MINI’s entry into the car-sharing segment and reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to premium urban mobility solutions. MINI, the iconic British automotive brand within the BMW Group, is widely recognised for its distinctive design and engaging driving experience, making it a natural fit for Udrive’s growing mobility ecosystem.

As part of the agreement, up to 100 MINI vehicles will be introduced to the Udrive platform in phases, with an initial fleet already available to customers nationwide

The lineup will feature MINI Convertibles, bringing the experience of open-top driving to the car-sharing market, alongside a range of other MINI models designed for efficient city driving and everyday use. Through the Udrive app, customers can enjoy a fully inclusive car-sharing experience that covers fuel and parking, offering greater convenience and transparency.

The partnership supports the UAE’s wider vision for smarter

More connected urban environments, aligning with the objectives set out in the Dubai Master Urban Plan 2040. It also reflects the growing shift toward flexible, shared, and experience-driven mobility solutions that cater to evolving urban lifestyles and changing transportation needs.

Commenting on the collaboration, Hasib Khan, Founder and CEO of Udrive, highlighted that innovation at Udrive is centred on providing customers with greater choice and flexibility

He noted that the platform is designed to adapt to different lifestyle needs, whether customers are seeking a practical vehicle for daily use or a convertible for weekend leisure, and that the partnership with AGMC MINI enables Udrive to offer distinctive premium vehicles while supporting the UAE’s ambitions for efficient urban mobility.

Ziad Boghdady, Head of AGMC MINI, said

The partnership introduces a new way for customers to engage with the MINI brand. He explained that integrating MINI models into a car-sharing platform reflects evolving consumer preferences in the UAE, where convenience, access and flexibility are increasingly prioritised alongside performance and design. The collaboration, he added, underscores AGMC MINI’s commitment to supporting innovative mobility solutions that align with the needs of modern city living.

Through the MoU, users will gain access to a variety of MINI models via the Udrive platform

Including Cooper S and John Cooper Works variants, in addition to MINI Convertibles. By introducing convertibles into the car-sharing space, the partnership expands the scope of shared mobility experiences, allowing customers to enjoy open-top driving on a flexible, on-demand basis.

Udrive enables users to locate, book and unlock vehicles directly through its mobile app, with flexible rental options available by the minute or by the day

The service eliminates common barriers associated with traditional car rentals by offering free fuel, free parking and no security deposit. Today, Udrive operates a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles and has completed over three million rentals. In 2025 alone, the platform recorded more than 554,000 trips and over 45 million kilometres driven, highlighting the growing demand for flexible mobility solutions across the UAE.

“Udrive continues to strengthen its market position through exclusive partnerships, first-to-market initiatives and value-driven offerings that broaden customer choice. By promoting car sharing as an alternative to private vehicle ownership, the company contributes to optimising vehicle usage, reducing traffic congestion and lowering environmental impact through increased shared access”.
