Lucid Group, the manufacturer of some of the world’s most advanced electric cars, has entered into a major partnership with the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF). The collaboration aims to expand premium and eco-friendly transport solutions throughout the festival’s duration. As part of the partnership, Lucid will provide a fleet of all-electric vehicles to move guests, filmmakers, and industry figures, reducing travel-related emissions and raising the standard for sustainable events in the region.

This partnership is a key pillar of RSIFF’s enhanced sustainability plan and aligns with the Festival’s broader
Commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Saudi Arabia’s vision for a greener and more sustainable creative industry.
Faisal Sultan, President of Lucid Middle East, commented:
“Lucid is honored to collaborate with the Red Sea International Film Festival to showcase the potential of zero-emission mobility. This festival is one of the region’s leading cultural platforms, and our partnership reflects a shared belief in a future where creativity, innovation, and sustainability unite. Together, we aim to highlight the Kingdom’s growing electric vehicle sector and the importance of clean transport solutions in improving the experience of festival audiences and creators.”
RSIFF’s sustainability agenda also addresses social and economic inclusion
The Festival continues to support fair access to opportunities through year-round programs such as the Red Sea Fund, Red Sea Labs, and the Red Sea Souk, which foster emerging talent from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia. Led by a team of women, the Festival is also dedicated to empowering women in the filmmaking industry through training, career development, and increased global visibility.
A representative from RSIFF said:
“Our partnership with Lucid is an important milestone in our mission to build one of the world’s most sustainable film festivals. We believe major cultural events must lead by example, and we are proud to demonstrate how innovative clean technologies can redefine the festival experience for audiences, creators, and industry partners. Our commitment extends well beyond this year’s edition, as we continue to develop a long-term strategy for environmental and social responsibility.”
