Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy / Monterey, California, August 15, 2025 – Automobile Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno, an ultra-limited production model restricted to just 29 units. This exclusive vehicle pays homage to Lamborghini’s legacy of crafting rare masterpieces, pushing boundaries in performance, technical advancement, and design. Celebrating 20 years of the Centro Stile design division—responsible for Lamborghini’s first fully in-house design—the Fenomeno showcases the pinnacle of the brand’s styling language.
As a bold design statement, the Fenomeno amplifies Lamborghini’s iconic aesthetics to new extremes. Alongside its distinctive form and custom-developed aerodynamics, the car boasts the most powerful V12 engine in the company’s history, paired with three electric motors to deliver a staggering 1,080 CV—835 CV from the naturally aspirated V12 and 245 CV from the electric trio. This immense power is harnessed through cutting-edge innovations debuting in a Lamborghini, including a 6D motion sensor and advanced CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes.
Reflecting on the lineage, CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated: “When we introduced the Reventón in 2007, we set out to craft a supercar that truly embodied Lamborghini’s essence. With the Fenomeno, we carry forward that same spirit of exclusivity and innovation.”
A standout at the 2025 Monterey Car Week, the Fenomeno follows the footsteps of other legendary limited-edition Lamborghinis like the Sesto Elemento (2010), Veneno (2013), Centenario (2016), Sián (2019), and Countach (2021). Its name, as per Lamborghini tradition, is inspired by a legendary bull, Fenomeno, spared in a 2002 Morelia bullfight for its exceptional qualities. In both Italian and Spanish, the word means “phenomenal,” underscoring the vehicle’s unique and extraordinary nature.
Winkelmann added: “Fenomeno embodies peak performance, striking design, and a bold interpretation of Lamborghini’s identity. It’s built for clients seeking the rarest expression of our brand. Beyond its look and power, it introduces more groundbreaking technologies than any few-off model in our history—creating a driving experience like no other.”
At its core, the Fenomeno uses Lamborghini’s monofuselage chassis, inspired by aerospace engineering. This structure features a full carbon-fiber monocoque and a front section made from Forged Composite®—a high-tech material comprised of short carbon fibers in resin, first used in the 2007 Reventón.
Designed with racing technology in mind, the Fenomeno delivers optimal dynamics for an exceptional V12 driving experience. High-performance CCM-R Plus brakes ensure superior stopping power on road and track, while forged single-nut wheels and Bridgestone-developed track tires maximize grip and agility. Its sport-tuned suspension provides unparalleled precision and stability in spirited driving.
With all these elements combined, the Fenomeno becomes Lamborghini’s fastest car ever, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. Its weight-to-power ratio of 1.64 kg/CV marks a new benchmark for the brand.
Design
The Fenomeno is a reinterpretation of Lamborghini’s signature style—unexpected, hyper-refined, and inspired by long-tail proportions. Instantly recognizable yet always evolving, the car’s silhouette features a bold center line, an extreme cabin layout, and a futuristic presence from every angle. Its streamlined, performance-driven surfaces merge functional efficiency with aesthetic purity, where design seamlessly integrates with performance.
