Abu Dhabi, UAE – June 30, 2025 – In a regional first, Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain have successfully installed the sought-after Manthey Performance Kit on the 911 GT3 RS (type 992), highlighting a major step forward in technical expertise and high-performance service delivery.
Created by Manthey Racing in close partnership with Porsche, the factory-approved kit significantly boosts the on-track capabilities of Porsche GT models while remaining street legal
The upgrade enhances the vehicle’s aerodynamics, suspension response, and driving dynamics—elevating an already impressive sports car to new levels of performance.
“We’re honored to be one of the first Porsche Centres in the region to complete the Manthey Performance Kit installation on the 911 GT3 RS,” said Patrick Wolfram, Aftersales Manager at Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. “This milestone showcases our technical proficiency and commitment to offering motorsport-grade enhancements with the assurance of Porsche-certified quality. It reflects our ongoing effort to deliver top-tier upgrades to our local Porsche community.”
The Manthey Kit features a full range of aerodynamic upgrades that give the car a distinctive look
At the front, it includes a redesigned spoiler lip with a larger wing profile reinforced by carbon fibre components. Additional elements like wheel arch Gurney flaps and dive planes on both sides of the bumper help boost front-end downforce.
The rear of the car showcases a carbon fibre shark fin
Inspired by the championship-winning 963 from the World Sportscar series, mounted on a lightweight rear window panel that reduces weight by 25%. Paired with a split carbon fibre DRS wing, an expanded rear diffuser, and aerodisc-style wheel covers, these components produce over 1,000 kg of downforce at a speed of 285 km/h.
Further performance enhancements include a semi-active coil-over suspension system with firmer spring rates
30% stiffer at the front and 15% at the rear—along with racing-grade brake pads and steel-braided brake lines, specifically for models equipped with Porsche’s Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). These upgrades not only improve the vehicle’s handling on the track but also allow for a unique visual identity, giving the car both dynamic performance and standout design.
“All components are installed by certified Porsche technicians, ensuring top-tier standards of quality, safety, and authenticity. This successful installation highlights Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi and Al Ain’s leadership in advanced performance upgrades and premium customer service in the region”.
