Friday, May 30th, 2025: In a daring effort to showcase the strength and durability of its vehicles, Chery UAE, in collaboration with its exclusive distributor AW Rostamani, organized an event called “Drill It If You Can” at The Smash Room in Dubai. The challenge invited influencers and media figures to test the toughness of the TIGGO 9’s chassis by attempting to break through it using heavy-duty tools.

Successfully passing one of the most extreme vehicle durability tests to date and clearly demonstrating the robustness and resilience of Chery’s engineering.

Chery Automobile recently demonstrated its strong safety credentials by successfully completing a full-width frontal crash test on its flagship TIGGO 9 model at its advanced safety lab in China
This test, aligned with the rigorous Euro NCAP standards, reflects Chery’s core belief that “safety is the ultimate form of luxury.”
“In the evaluation—designed to replicate real-world collision scenarios and now a key industry benchmark—the TIGGO 9 collided with a rigid barrier at 50 km/h. Despite the severe conditions, the vehicle showed no deformation to the A-pillars or doors, no battery leakage, smoke, fire, or explosion. All airbags and safety systems functioned correctly, and sufficient survival space was maintained for passengers”.
