On Wednesday, Cadillac introduced the new Escalade and announced that production will begin later this year, with sales to follow soon after. The redesigned Escalade, is available for the 2025 model year. Both the standard Escalade and the ultra-performance Escalade-V will be offered.

Escalade IQ exterior designs

The Escalade has undergone significant alterations. A redesigned front-end design featuring slit-like turn signals at the leading edge of the hood distinguishes the external alterations. The primary headlight cluster, which also houses the daytime running lights, is arranged vertically beneath this. The grille surround and crest logo may be illuminated on certain versions. The V-series gets a new look with a carbon fiber motif, while standard models get two new inside color schemes. Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic are the three new exterior paint choices.

Additional visual changes include redesigned taillights, a redesigned rear bumper, reshaped exhaust tips, and new wheel designs with diameters ranging from 22 to 24 inches. The largest wheels ever installed on an Escalade are 24-inches .

Engine specifications

The updated assortment includes all six of the 2024 trim levels. In the V-series, the  682-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine and the normal 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 engine are both returning. However, the 3.0-liter diesel inline-six, which was less powerful, did not make it through the redesign.

2025 Escalade IQ’s revamped interior

There’s also a significant revamp to the interior. A new dashboard up front has the same cutting-edge design that defines the Escalade IQ. This comprises three screens: an infotainment screen, a front passenger screen, and a gauge cluster that are 55 inches wide and span the width of the dash.

The climate controls and other car settings are displayed on an additional screen that is located in the center console, as if that weren’t enough. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will remain available, as confirmed by Cadillac. Among the high-end features are powered doors, which incorporate an autonomous driver-assist feature for highways from General Motors called Super Cruise, an AKG audio system with 36 speakers as standard and 40 when paired with the executive second row package.
