2025 Honda Civic Si Reviews and Updates

highest-rated compact car receives a revamp for 2025

In addition to the standard minor cosmetic and equipment changes, the Honda Civic recently underwent a major overhaul for 2025, with half of the lineup moving from turbocharged four-cylinder engine to a hybrid configuration with even more horsepower and far better fuel economy.

For the 2025 model , the fun-loving Civic Si sedan also receives a stylistic makeover, with new taillights and a reworked front end in addition to other appealing features. Pricing has barely increased by $850 despite the inclusion of more standard equipment and multiple infotainment updates.

Civic Si Interior

The inside of the Honda Civic is elegantly minimalistic. Clean lines and a classy honeycomb-style mesh strip across the dash characterize the modest design. Additionally, we find the way everything functions aesthetically to be pleasing. For the class, the cabin materials are impressive. Our long-term test model had a storage pad in front of the gear shifter where we could easily place and charge a phone, which is one feature we found quite helpful

Even for taller folks, the front seats are wide, but we wish the lumbar support could be adjusted. Adults can also fit comfortably in the back. Even in the most expensive trim, the rear passengers do not have climate vents, which is unfortunate.

Additional features

The best of the new features are the standard heated front seats, which were previously unavailable on the Civic Si. Additionally, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is now standard, and Google Built-In software is added to the 9.0-inch infotainment screen to enable additional apps and other connectivity functions. The color pallet is expanded to include Urban Gray Pearl.

Civic Si Engine

Honda claims that the suspension has been adjusted and rev-matching mechanism of the manual transmission can now be used for downshifts from second to first gear. The 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine and 6-speed manual transmission remain unchanged, with an output of 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque.

Release Date

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has awarded this generation of Civic a Top Safety Pick certification, while the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given it a 5-Star overall rating. According to Honda, the updated 2025 Civic Si will be on sale in August. It will once again only be offered as a sedan, only with a manual transmission, and only with summer tires as an option.
