Maserati has unveiled the Maserati UltrafinO watch in collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Bianchet. The special timepiece celebrates the 100th anniversary of Maserati’s iconic Trident emblem.
The watch combines the worlds of luxury automobiles and Swiss watchmaking. Therefore, it reflects a shared passion for engineering, performance, and craftsmanship.
Designers also drew inspiration from the Maserati MCPURA supercar. As a result, the watch establishes a strong visual connection between automotive engineering and mechanical horology.
Furthermore, Maserati will produce only 100 pieces of the Maserati UltrafinO. Consequently, the watch immediately becomes a rare collector’s item for enthusiasts of both luxury watches and performance cars.
A Collaboration Between Automotive and Watchmaking Excellence
The partnership between Maserati and Bianchet brings together two industries that value precision engineering.
Maserati founded its brand in Bologna in 1914. Later, the company moved its headquarters to Modena, where it continues to develop its performance-focused vehicles.
Meanwhile, Swiss watchmaker Bianchet specializes in advanced tourbillon timepieces. The brand frequently designs its watches using the golden ratio, which ensures visual harmony and balance.
Therefore, the collaboration between the two brands feels natural. Both companies pursue mechanical excellence and refined design.
Design Inspired by the Maserati MCPURA Supercar
The Maserati UltrafinO draws many design cues from the Maserati MCPURA, one of the brand’s latest supercars.
The MCPURA uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine producing 630 horsepower. In addition, its carbon-fiber monocoque allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds.
This spirit of performance appears clearly in the watch design. For example, the skeletonized dial reflects the structure of the car’s wheel design.
Moreover, the three-spoke layout references Maserati’s famous Trident emblem.
The dial also features deep blue gradient tones inspired by the paint used on the MCPURA supercar. Consequently, the watch visually echoes the car’s dynamic character.
Advanced Mechanics With a Flying Tourbillon
The watch uses the Bianchet UT01 movement, which integrates a flying tourbillon.
In mechanical watchmaking, the tourbillon represents one of the most complex mechanisms. Therefore, it plays a key role in improving precision while showcasing technical craftsmanship.
The movement contains 225 components and 29 jewels. In addition, it operates at 3 Hz and provides a power reserve of around 60 hours.
Engineers designed the movement with a thickness of only 3.85 mm. As a result, the watch achieves an exceptionally slim profile for a tourbillon timepiece.
To improve durability, the bridges and main plates use Grade 5 titanium. Meanwhile, the case relies on high-density carbon to reduce weight while maintaining strength.
Lightweight Construction and Advanced Materials
The Maserati UltrafinO weighs only 36 grams without the strap. Therefore, it ranks among the lightest watches in its category.
A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial and caseback. In addition, the watch offers water resistance up to 5 ATM.
The structure also includes a shock-resistance system capable of handling forces up to 5,000 G. Consequently, the movement maintains stability under demanding conditions.
Owners can choose between two strap options. First, an integrated high-density carbon bracelet is available. Alternatively, buyers may select a natural rubber strap with a titanium folding clasp.

Production of the Maserati UltrafinO will remain strictly limited to 100 numbered pieces.
This number commemorates the centenary of Maserati’s Trident emblem. Therefore, each watch carries symbolic value for collectors and enthusiasts.
Each timepiece is assembled at Bianchet’s workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. There, artisans complete the finishing by hand.
Finally, Maserati and Bianchet will officially unveil the watch at Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva. Overall, the collaboration highlights the strong connection between automotive innovation and luxury watchmaking.
