British manufacturer Ariel Motor Company unveiled the most powerful Atom ever created, the Ariel Atom 4RR. The new model pushes the limits of lightweight performance and elevates the famous Atom formula to a new level.

The company introduced the car to celebrate 25 years of the Ariel Atom. However, the 4RR goes far beyond a symbolic anniversary model. Instead, Ariel engineered it as the most extreme Atom in the brand’s history.

A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine powers the Ariel Atom 4RR. Engineers derived the engine from the unit used in the Honda Civic Type R.

However, Ariel engineers significantly upgraded the powertrain to deliver 525 horsepower. Consequently, the 4RR now holds the title of the most powerful Atom ever built.
