iCAUR, a China-based automotive brand focused on electric mobility, is entering the Middle East market with the launch of its V27 SUV. Debuting first in the UAE, the brand plans to gradually expand its presence across the wider region.

Advancing sustainable mobility in the Middle East
As governments, businesses and consumers across the Middle East work together to accelerate the shift toward greener transportation, the V27 arrives as a range-extended electric SUV (REEV) that delivers extended driving range with reduced emissions. The vehicle operates primarily on electric power via its battery and motors, while a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine functions as an auxiliary generator to recharge the battery when needed.
The V27 offers a total driving range exceeding 900km, including up to 150km of zero-emission, all-electric driving—well suited for everyday travel in the UAE. Producing a combined output of 449hp, the SUV reaches a top speed of 170km/h in rear-wheel-drive form and 180km/h in all-wheel-drive versions, delivering strong performance tailored to regional driving demands.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Zhang Xiaolong (Tim), General Manager of iCAUR Middle East, noted that the timing is ideal, particularly in the UAE’s fast-growing automotive market. He highlighted strong consumer interest in low- and zero-emission vehicles in line with the country’s green mobility strategy, adding that the V27 supports this vision by pairing high efficiency with engaging performance.
Striking design for a modern audience
The V27’s design combines classic SUV character with contemporary innovation. Its bold, boxy proportions and muscular lines give it a commanding road presence, while the dual sunroof adds both visual appeal and everyday functionality. At the front, square-framed headlights with black surrounds and circular LED daytime running lights sit alongside a robust, practical grille.
Built with off-road capability in mind, features such as upright A-pillars, a low window line and large side windows enhance visibility, while pronounced wheel arches contribute to a wide stance and allow for larger wheel and tyre options.

Inside, the V27 delivers a modern, tech-focused cabin without sacrificing practicality. Highlights include customizable 64-colour ambient lighting, 48 storage compartments, a flat floor in the second row, a 15-speaker audio system and a 15.4-inch high-resolution floating touchscreen.
Mr Zhang added that the V27 is expected to resonate strongly with younger buyers, thanks to its distinctive styling and versatile performance. He also emphasized its off-road credentials, including 220mm of ground clearance and a towing capacity of up to 1.6 tonnes.
A strong debut in the regional SUV segment
“With its combination of classic SUV-inspired styling, advanced technology and everyday comfort, the V27 makes a confident entry into the competitive Middle East SUV market. The launch marks iCAUR’s first step in the region and signals the beginning of a new chapter focused on sustainable mobility”.
Concluding, Mr Tim stated that introducing the V27 in the Middle East underlines iCAUR’s commitment to supporting regional climate objectives by offering a vehicle that delivers style, driving enjoyment and reduced dependence on fossil fuels.
